Lazy Man’s Diet
As the trend grows for people on diets, there is only one thing that really seems to change. And for the most part it is not people becoming thinner.
Rather it is diets becoming more complex. Cups of this, teaspoons of that, a fistful of meat, one bowl of apricot, and so on. Diets mix and mesh inconvenient meals together without taking into account the busy lifestyles of Americans.
The main problem with diets is discipline. The second problem with diets is complexity. Most people who want to lead a healthier lifestyle find themselves hard press to really change their habits while juggling the other challenges of life.
This causes people to give up their diets. To fall back into a hopeless circular hole of worse and worse health. Which of course makes them look for more diets, which are usually even more complex than the inconvenient one they started wiith.
But like success, becoming healthy is incredibly simple.
A lot of people say motivational speakers don’t have any substance to them when they talk about success. To them I say that is because there really is not all that much substance to success other than the simple factors of hard work, persistence, and an open mind to new ideas and concepts.
The same principle applies with diets. Diets should be simple, not complex. There is not a vein of hope for success in these regimes, though people do exceed they are far from the normal.
That is why I want to introduce something to people out there searching for simple weight loss. Weight loss that can occur even while not on a regular exercise program. It is called the Trim Slim Shape program, or the TSS.
Made by Visalus Sciences it consists of three things done daily:
1. One to two meal replacement by a sweet tasting shake (Ranging from all sorts of flavors and combinations of how to make it.) Without a change in your current diet (But of course, eating healthier does speed things up!)
2. Metabolism supplements in a small pill format. Used to awaken the metabolism and also to keep it from becoming sluggish as what occurs in normal diets.
3. A hunger suppressant that goes in colorless and flavorless into the beverage of your choice. This is used so you can get past hunger pains which often spell the doom of any potential dieter.
For a much more complex and harder to follow diet, here is the weekly cost:
| Diet | Total Price of Weekly Food Menu* ** | Percent Over National Average |
| Jenny Craig | $137.65 | 152.8% |
| NutriSystem | 113.52 | 108.5 |
| Atkins | 100.52 | 84.6 |
| Weight Watchers | 96.64 | 77.5 |
| Zone | 92.84 | 70.5 |
| Ornish | 78.74 | 44.6 |
| South Beach | 78.61 | 44.4 |
| Slim Fast | 77.73 | 42.8 |
| Sugar Busters! | 69.62 | 27.9 |
| Subway | 68.60 | 26.0 |
| Median | 85.79 | 57.6 |
| Sources: Forbes, Fresh Direct, Amazon, Bureau of Labor Statistics * Adjusted for NYC prices ** Includes the cost of associated book, if applicable, and any membership fees associated with the diet, averaged over a six-month period. | ||
The cheapest diet on here, over the course of one month would cost you $274.40. Which is $56.74 more than the average American spends on food.
TSS weight loss cost? 125 dollars not a week but a month.
