Seattle! Backpacking! NOW!

I am sitting in the airport on my little asus eee typing this out. My first blog of real travel begins here. The plan so far is to land in Seattle and stay there for a few days with my friend Ole. Him and a bunch of other artists bought a mansion together to live in. It should be pretty sweet.

I’ve never been able to explore Seattle before, so it shall be incredible  I am sure.

After Seattle I am heading down to Portland and then onwards to CA. Not sure if I am doing AZ or Utah first, but after that it is pretty much a zig zag across America. To Texas, to Missouri, Tennessee, Minneapolis, and so on till my final destination in New York.

I am incredibly excited and I would like to take this time to honor my two inspirations for this trip: Elliot Smith, and Chris McCandless (Alex Supertramp).

Both men are dead but they both lived life. So few people do.

I am going to visit Elliot’s memorial in LA for sure, and the tattoo is coming!
